Disgusting pictures but it's a REAL improvement over our basic can lights. Instead of being useful, the old fixtures lit the room at eye level due to the ceiling angle. We rarely turned them on as the light from across the room just blinded us. This was a game changer as their customizability allowed us to target them to a specific shelf/coffee/bar. No more blinding light - wow! Very easy installation. And as others have mentioned, Lutron dimmers work great with them. My only complaint is that when we first bought them they were outrageously expensive at $134 for 4. When I checked again a few weeks later, they were $79 (same seller, same light). Clearly Revain's prices fluctuate and to some extent I think the buyer should beware. But the difference between them was so great that I couldn't shake the feeling that we had been robbed, and the thought of it still annoys me. However, we liked them so much that we bought 4 more for other areas ($79 each).
