UPDATE. I ended up trading a medium pink suit for a plus size purple suit. Being pear-shaped, it's always good to have a little extra room in the bottom half. This usually makes the top too big, but since you can tie the straps as tight as you like (and adjust the padding on the lining), that's not a problem! I love purple even more - so beautiful! I was pleasantly surprised with this costume! To be honest, I was expecting to look like a schoolboy on a wrestling team (but there's nothing wrong with that, Chad) because I lack the curves in the upper half of my body. But to be honest, it's very flattering! Ties at the waist create the illusion of an hourglass, although there is no cleavage. The color is bright and the quality of the material is excellent. The only caveat is that the side part will pucker a bit under the armpits if you do anything with your arm other than straighten it, but then again that's probably just because I don't have anything to stuff the top with, lol . Also, I feel that this suit fits any body size because the straps are adjustable. For reference, I'm 5 feet 10 inches, 145 pounds, pear shaped. Wears a medium size. Enjoy!
