Has some pros 1. Universal zoom for "every day" for reporting and travel. On the crop we get a convenient focal range of 36-180 2. Very sharp at all focal lengths at f/4. Calmly resolves a 24 mpix matrix even on crop. 3. Excellent stabilizer - you can shoot at 1/30 at the long end of 120 mm 4. At the long end of 120 mm at f / 4, you can "conditionally" shoot portraits - if you move the background away from the person by a meter or more. Bokeh is normal. 5. Adequate price when buying as part of a D750 kit (20,000) 6. Dust-moisture protection. 7. Fast focus on D750 Cons: 1. The D7100 does not focus as fast as the Nikon 24-70 f / 2.8 and slows down a bit when there is a lack of light. 2. It's a bit heavy - Nikon obviously didn't spare metal :( And why does everyone love metal lenses so much ? 3. The zoom ring rotates a little hard 4. Expensive 77mm filters 5. The price is high when buying not as part of a whale - makes you think about alternatives, for example Tamron SP 24-70 f / 2.8 DI VC
