Review on IOGEAR G2LR6404 Iogear 4FT FIREWIRE by Dink Rivas

Sure, it saves space when traveling, but my iPod (2nd generation, FireWire only) could not be connected to my VGN-S260 laptop with this cable. Just not recognized by iTunes or iPod Updater March 23, 2005 Spent a lot of time troubleshooting. I later tried using a regular (non-retractable) cable and my iPod was recognized normally. Maybe I have an unreliable device or there is a general quality issue with this Iogear product.
