These banana plugs are well designed and very well made, especially for the price! The build quality is excellent! I really like how they work. It's just a banana plug. How can it be? The wire is of course inserted from behind and held in place by two set screws. Good enough. What I really like is that the lid or handle is inserted and screwed on from the FRONT SIDE. This results in a very good mechanical and electrical connection. More expensive connectors work this way, but even most of them don't have the same fit and build quality as these relatively inexpensive connectors. Please note that the entire plug is made of metal. The barrel or grip is not insulated, so care must be taken when handling it. Common sense dictates that they should not be handled while the circuit is live to avoid accidental contact between two live conductors. For goodness sake just turn off the power when making connections. It's easy to do. Your amplifier will thank you.
