If you need regular wire for low voltage applications, this wire will do. Adhesive clips work well too. The quick connectors (black and clear connectors) that run from the RGB cable to the waterproof strip are absolute rubbish. I can't say enough, just solder your connections. A complete soldering kit costs less than $20, saving you so much time. Check out some YouTube videos, it takes a little patience but it can be done. I almost lost my mind trying to work with these fast connectors. The last thing I want to mention is the voltage drop - if you just connect strip to strip your LEDs just won't end up being as bright as they started. You can get around this by using more wires and reconnecting each LED strip to the source to keep the voltage high (within reason - your power supply can only handle so many amps).
