This phone mount fits my needs exactly. Charging for my Samsung s10e is 10W, so that's enough to keep the current charge level when the phone is used for navigation and music. I believe this is a limitation of Samsung phones' wireless charging capabilities, so the mount is not the issue. The automatic detection when the phone is plugged in is pretty cool, but sometimes it doesn't seem to center my phone exactly with the wireless charging part. The buttons on the side don't actually press, you just touch them and the phone is released. If your car cuts off the power source you're using to power this thing when you turn the key off and you don't release your phone first, it will be stuck there until you turn the key/power back on. There is no release if it is not activated. I bought it to use the suction cup part with my windshield but also wanted to try the vent clip to see if I liked the layout better. I've found my vent blades aren't thick enough to use with it. So be careful when using this for that. It also comes with a mounting plate for your dashboard that can be used with a suction cup, but you need to attach a metal plate to your dashboard to do this.
