Not designed for very cold temperatures, this pair of gloves is of high quality and should be able to withstand most East Coast urban winter conditions and outdoor activities . . If you need to use it in 20F or colder temperatures with a high wind chill factor you will need to either use it with a pair of sleeve/liner gloves or get a pair of heavier gloves. The seams and seams are well finished. The profile is slim and they don't feel bulky to me. I can wear them with business and casual wear. The index fingers of both gloves can control smartphones and tablets. In addition, there is a Micro-Fastex buckle that can be used to fasten both gloves together. I highly recommend this pair of gloves.
