In this photo a quality Traex SG-200 grater - they will send you a flimsy fake

The photo shows a Traex SG-200 grater. Traex is a very high quality grater. I have owned one of the Traex graters for about 15 years and have used them hundreds of times. This is a wonderful powerful grater. I wanted to give each of my daughters a Traex grater and ordered this item in December 2012 based on a photo. What I received is not what is pictured. The handles on the ones they sent me were square, not oval. There is no brand stamp on the grater. The build quality of what was sent to me is very poor and the graters were bent when I received them. My 15 year old Traex is just as edgy as the day I bought it. The Traex brand will be called Traex, Dripcut or Volrath. (I have a dripcut stamp, although the "t" in the stamp is very faint.) Revain sells a genuine Traex grater. It costs more but I believe it will last a lifetime and is a pleasure to use. If you want to see Traex, look to Revain for a Traex grater. At Revain, it costs about $17. It is also listed in the Vollrath section, but at a significantly higher price. While this is affordable, you will not get the high quality grater shown in the photo.
