Dull color best in hair coloring products

I don't know if I got a bad batch or an old one but this color was very dull. The consistency of the color was different than other manic panic colors I've bought e.g. B. thicker. The color looks great in the photos, but unfortunately it looked like a mega diluted version. Like ultra light jeans. Huge crap. I wish I had a spare because the other Manic Panic colors I've used always come out very bright.
