If only it were strong

Bought this as a gift idea for a friend who has a rabbit. It's good that I checked its quality before giving it to her. The backpack arrives folded. To achieve this, the lower part is folded by folding the back. The sides and back do not support the bag so it will not return to this folded position. Although the pocket is on the back, it has very poor durability. They would need to include at least one backplate sized coated cardboard insert to keep it stable when not being carried - this is the position it must be in to load a pet in before placing it on its back. . However, this does not apply to the parties. So what they really needed to include wasn't a simple bottom board like they did, but a plastic tray that essentially added about 2 inches of edge support around the included board - an insert tray (made of both plastics), so to speak. or hard rubber). I also just realized that while they are conceptually cool (especially when it comes to durability), they suffer from a problem worse than plastic pet carriers, as if the pet should be doing business and not drawing your attention to it, i don't understand how one would erase this thing. So I'll have to take this to my girlfriend to see if she's willing to DIY improvements to make this thing work for her, or end up bringing it back to try something harder. It looked very good for the rabbit as the rabbit has a minimal open view but still has vents for airflow and rabbit visibility. Rabbits get stressed when they see predators and unfamiliar faces, and can actually share St. Worries and fears, so they should be able to feel hidden. Other holder designs seem more open and don't offer this - that's the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars vs. 1 star (besides the material quality despite the lack of stability). If you really need it, my personal DIY idea is to run some kind of support rods from two corners (like chopsticks or steel straws) where the bottom vent is and somehow cover a piece of cardboard to support the back and then it should be supported enough so you don't have to worry about the bag flexing on the pet inside when not carrying it on your back.
