GOOD pants but NOT WATERPROOF

I bought 2 pairs of these pants for a trip to Alaska (based on reviews from people hiking Iceland, glaciers and waterfalls). GOOD: Comfortable, fleece lined and nice style. good for "dry activities" on cold days. I wore them on DRY days. BAD: I'm not a "High Wast" fan and best of all, I was in remote McCarthy, Alaska on the day it rained, so whatever I brought had to be taken care of. It was raining that morning and I was cycling through town; These pants are GOOD but NOT WATERPROOF! Please correct the description to be accurate as they are WATER RESISTANT. The TITLE says waterproof. Let me explain the difference: WATER RESISTANCE: does not penetrate the surface at all, whereas WATER RESISTANCE: the product retains rain or water for a short time, but eventually the water seeps through the skin! Here I got into 45 degree weather with constant rain and cold feet. The inside of the fleece was wet, which means waterproof but not waterproof. The seller needs to UPDATE the listing and I hope they get back to me as relying on gear for a specific function is misleading and while they are GREAT and comfortable for cold weather they are NOT great if you waterproof and you want are in a very cold rain. you will get wet
