*Despite other reviews on the date of purchase, the model I received is great.*I was hesitant to buy based on the reviews but I'm glad I did. $30 for this is a bit pricey in my opinion but they all cost that much and this one is solid and functional so can't complain. I think in other words it's worth the money, I just feel like it should be cheaper. The legs and corners must be identical for it to be durable and functional. What's good is that they set the degrees of angle so you can match each foot to the other. I saw a review that couldn't be printed because it was "too lively". I can type with it perfectly on my laptop, both on the desk and in bed with no problems, it's something like "jumping". I don't find it particularly firm and stiff, but there aren't any issues, at least not with my stand and laptop. I have a Dell XPS 13 and it's pretty heavy. I haven't felt many laptops but mine is by no means light and I think that in my opinion it's quite heavy and holds everything well. You may run into problems if you have an even heavier laptop. Mine has been running for about 2 weeks now with no problems. So if you are looking for a stand identical to this one, in my opinion and personal experience you can't go wrong with this stand.
