Review on πŸ’† Enhanced Portable Philips Norelco PQ208/40 Travel Electric Razor for Optimal Performance by Jill Ross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I recommend looking for an alternative.

I don't understand how he gets positive reviews. Even if I received a razor with serious flaws in terms of blade quality and performance, the tilt of the rotating faces would still warrant poor design. If you need razors when you travel, you would be *much* better off just picking up a pack of cheap single-blade handheld razors for $1 compared to this one. It's awkward to angle, feels incredibly uncomfortable, is rough on the skin like a rusty, unevenly worn, lower-end handheld razor, and catches only a small fraction of the hairs it passes over. After trying to shave with this razor, my skin had blisters, an uncomfortable tingling sensation and a lot of straggly hair. To call it "useless" and "useless" would still be too much. In fact, I can't even say "I've never come across a razor this low" because I'm pretty sure the lack of functionality here is so significant that it can't be called a razor. more than a pizza cutter or a normal pocket knife can be. That said: sure, you can make some progress, but it's really not worth the effort and not quite what the object was originally designed for.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
