I deduct 1 star because of the missing instructions. But the end result is great. Here is a step-by-step guide for a smooth installation. 1. Determine the location of the light by ensuring it is at least 1.5 inches away from the post. (If closer, this might work, but rotating the body while the clip engages will be required, adding to the difficulty. 2. Position the decal at the lighting spot. 3. Cut *exactly* along the outside edge of the round Use a drywall saw to cut the decal, making sure the cut is perpendicular to the ceiling. 4. Remove all clamps and foam from the case, open the electrical box and remove the long strip of foam. 5. Check the box installation in the hole by slowly adjust the narrow points with the utility knife 6. After inserting the can into the hole, remove the necessary cables and re-thread (note that only 2 extra cables can be fed into the junction box, so plan on daisy chaining instead of using one light to spread it across multiple cans 7. Pull out the necessary plugs us and add NM plugs for wire security 8. Apply foam tape around the outside of the can (fits between the drywall and the can to seal) pull firmly on the foam as it will stretch and become too thin 9. Again dry to ensure it is not too tight. 10. Connect the wires through the connectors, making sure they are tight. 11 years. Connect the junction box to the glass and place it on the ceiling (friction should be maintained if the foam/hole size is cut correctly). 12. Remove the foam tabs from the metal clips as shipped, long tab up.14 Long 15. Press your finger on the bottom of the tab or on the end of the flat head until the small metal tab is in the semi-circle of the can body. 16. Repeat for all metal clips 17. Place foam tabs vertically on metal clips previously installed 18. Install LED lights (sold separately) 19. Enjoy
