Just got my first men's haircut with these clippers, I found them easy to use (after seeing my partner's hairdresser cut my partner's hair with the clippers one day). It was easy to learn how to use different pads, change settings on the scissors, and did a good job at a good price. He has thin hair so I can't comment on how it works with thick hair. His haircut is almost military, short on the sides, and I'm happy with the result (or rather he said it's better than some barbers). The only difficulty was taking the blades off, cleaning them, and putting them back on. He needed help figuring it out, the instructions were useless and the videos were only marginally more helpful. I recommend although there is nothing to compare.
