Review on 🏻 Assorted Loose Bicycle Bearings Kit by Ahmed Rowe

Having experience with wheel bearings running away during maintenance I thought I'd cover my ass before disassembling the wheels and ordering this kit. I would have preferred the smaller amounts of sizes I needed (1/4 for rear and 3/16 for front) as this set has more bearings than I will use in a lifetime. However, finding individual loose bearings can be difficult these days. In the end, this storage kit really saved my ass**. Not a single bearing"flew". But I found that when the bike was assembled, there were 9 bearings on one side of the front wheel and 10 bearings on the other side. The 9 bearing side also showed signs of contact between the hub and the inner axle. I also found that the front wheel was no longer lubricated and the oil seal was deformed from improper installation. The front wheel now has 10 bearings each side up front with Woods grease, the wheel turns better than new and I have bearings for the future. and something else. When you buy this kit, you will need the ziplock containers or envelopes after you open each storage box because the boxes are sealed.
