I bought the expensive dyson and it broke right after the warranty was done. This vacuum has all the vacuum power we need at home for a fraction of the other's price. Plus, the light on the vacuum head makes a great difference. I use this every day to vacuum the hardwood kitchen floor and it works great. Quiet, smooth rolling on the floor, the light really shows the dirt on the floor, plus it recharges quick. You don't need to spend five times the price of this vacuum to get a great one, this one is great.
