We recently adopted a 5 pound Chihuahua and needed a booster for the ride home. I used to have the same booster and really liked it for its portability and ease of maintenance. The bed and drawer bracket are removable and washable with zippers. The inner walls are not made of cardboard and can be removed if desired, the walls are made of PVC. The nylon surface is excellent for spreading wool and liquids. I love that I can fold the storage box and wash the bed. The included leash is long enough for my little one to stand and look out the window but it is sewn on so I don't know how long it will last but for now it's good for short term use. The small size fits the front seat and back seat of a transitional car, mine is in my Tesla Model 3. However, it takes up the entire seat like baby car seats, but I don't mind. I routed the seat belt through the rear loops, but it also comes with a detachable extension that wraps around the actual car seat. There are also two outside pockets with velcro, suitable for bags, tissues, leash etc. I recommend this car seat. For your children, if you are like me, you need a convertible and mobile seat that can be stored and washed from time to time.
