Excellent pre-filter for the entire house water supply. There are also large blue filters, which relieves them and extends the life of these filters. Sturdy and not like cheap plastic that will break too. The backwash feature is very easy to set up and works great. Really helps extend filter life between cleanings. I've been using it for about 3 months now. However, if necessary, it has to be pulled out for cleaning, but the automation really helps. My only complaint is that the scraper doesn't move during backwashing and even if I move it it doesn't do much because there is too much clearance between the scraper and the filter. I had to contact customer service to get a replacement filter for it and customer service was quick to respond via email and even called me after I asked to speak to a real person to make sure I got the right part got.
