Description of 💧 Impressive iSpring WSP50ARB: Reusable Spin Down Sediment Water Filter with Auto Flushing Module, Touch-Screen, and Brass Top – Clear Housing, 50 Micron

Flushable and reusable. The whole house spin down sediment water filter is used to create a multi-layer gradient filtration system taking considerable workload off finer filters that follow it and result in a longer filter life. As a larger, upgraded version of WSP series, WSP50ARB filters out particulate, sediment, rust, and floating objects. Pressure-resistant and durable materials. Lead-free brass machine head, 50-micron food grade stainless steel mesh filter screen, and explosion-proof transparent housing. Easy installation. No welding or glue needed. Works well with copper, PEX, and CPVC pipes. Auto Flushing. Integrated Auto Flushing Module(dual power supply) with scraper saves time and effort on routine maintenance. Choose from auto, semi-auto, and manual on HD touch screen to enable the system to flush automatically on a preset schedule. High flow rate. Provide a maximum flow rate of 35 GPM. Two types of threads on both two ends of connectors: 1-inch MNPT and 3/4-inch FNPT or 3⁄4-inch push-fit plumbing fittings. Parts included: two 3⁄4” push-fit plumbing fittings, 1 power adapter, 1 circlip, 3 AA batteries for touch-screen Auto Flushing Module. Lifetime tech support from iSpring.

If only I could give 0 stars. Just don't waste money buying for nothing

I have a good one at home with two filters 4"x10" with a 50 µm filter and then a 1 µm disposable filter. I was reading about the iSpring Auto Down Filter and thought it would save me the hassle of changing the first filter and rated at 23-30 gpm it would certainly be able to more than meet my flow requirements for my home to fulfill. How wrong I was This thing is lucky, it makes 2-3 gallons per minute unless you literally just flushed it out. I can't shower for 5 minutes before it kills the…

Excellent pre-filter for the entire house water supply

Excellent pre-filter for the entire house water supply. There are also large blue filters, which relieves them and extends the life of these filters. Sturdy and not like cheap plastic that will break too. The backwash feature is very easy to set up and works great. Really helps extend filter life between cleanings. I've been using it for about 3 months now. However, if necessary, it has to be pulled out for cleaning, but the automation really helps. My only complaint is that the scraper doesn't

Works fantastic! Love it!

The numbers in this review are wrong. Thickness, transparency and elongation have nothing to do with downward rotation. Check it now! This thing looks great. I've tested it a bit and run a few drain cycles and it looks like it's working fantastic! After only two fills with the pump (running my system on waste and then letting it fill up) I caught huge chunks of what looked like metal flakes (ooh). I went with 50 microns, which might not be the best choice given the size of the solids I'm…

Good build quality, restrictive hardware.

I haven't installed it yet. However, I'm posting my review so far and will update it once it's installed. The reason it hasn't been installed yet is that the 3/4" push-in fittings that come with it have a brass ring in the middle, making it look more like a 1/. 2 inch diameter pipe. I already have flow issues and this will make them worse. I'm looking for alternative fittings that don't have this limitation. Looks like it but I need to order them as they are not sold at Home Despot. I'll…

Good idea but needs a lot of improvement

I bought this to remove scale from the well before the softener and auto flush. It was attractive because I didn't know how much dirt I was going to be dealing with. Come to learn, not much. The packaging was great and well thought out. I noticed right away that it was huge, weighing a ton due to the large brass plate. It's too heavy to connect to a 1 inch PVC pipe and leave it alone, so they give you a metal holder to solve the weight problem. I'll just go over the pros and cons. Advantages…

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Seniors

I have my own well on the property and the entire filter in the house gets clogged with sediment every week or two. I needed something to get rid of the coarse sediment so my main filter would last longer. This device was amazing! It was really easy to install as it already included the connector hardware. I just had to cut the PVC, make a simple bracket and attach it. It took me 30 minutes. It's great to see the sediment build up and then wash away! I have a lot of sediment in my well water so

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

The iSpring 50 micron filter has already paid for itself!

We have very bad water with bentonite clay from well water. There is a lot of housing and real estate construction going on in our area and the aquifer seems to be a lot 'dirtier' than usual. We replaced two 5 micron cartridge filters every week. These cartridges cost between $25 and $30 each, and we need to keep a few in stock to get them to market quickly. A NOTICE. In the illustrations, the water flow is from right to left, so the first filter is closest to the iSpring filter. We installed…
