This project has big goals and a great price tag, but it has some design flaws that are disappointing. Pros: * True 1080p resolution. * Good set of input parameters * Audio output suitable for HDMI video * Very bright * Light weight. Heavy enough not to move in the wind, but light enough not to be a burden. Cons: * UX (user experience) is very poor. It took me a while to figure out how to change the inputs. * It has built-in USB video playback capabilities, but a very limited range of supported formats. The UX for playing videos or scrolling through images is exceptionally poor. I still haven't figured out how to start the slideshow after selecting photos.* It doesn't come with a manual so you'll have to google it or just press buttons until you figure out how it works.* I was able to not Focus the entire screen at once. I can get a focus donut with a fuzzy center and fuzzy edges. This isn't as noticeable in movies, but when you're trying to read text or surf the web it becomes a real problem.* You'll have to unscrew the feet completely and swap them front-to-back or vice-versa to adjust the angle of the to change projector. it's a total ghetto. * Be careful with the focus knob, turn it fully, otherwise the lens may fall out of the guide and get stuck. I eventually put it back into the rail, but it worked like a touch for a few minutes.* No screw mount in the middle to attach it to a tripod. It's not advertised, but most projectors include it. Overall this is a good projector for the price. I was able to fill most of the 13x7 inch screen on a dark night, which is absolutely stunning for a projector at this price point. However, it has many design elements that remind you that this is a cheap projector with performance claims. The biggest mistake is not being able to focus the entire screen at once. The text is noticeably blurry around the edges and in the middle. I guess a well shaped lens was overpriced and they got something almost, but not quite right. Numerous UI issues can be largely ignored if you're just using it as an HDMI receiver, but focus issues limit its usefulness. Mostly just to watch movies or TV.
