Review on Curt Manufacturing 56378 Custom Connector by Justin Albright

Installed according to the instructions with no problems. It was a bit tricky to open the panel wide enough to make the connection, but it was doable. The installation took about 20-30 minutes. After installation I connected the railing and all lightbulbs worked fine. The only thing I don't like is that the cable has to be exposed. In my previous Toyota van it was hidden behind the jack cover so you couldn't see it (hence the 4 stars). I'd rather see a different "pigtail" connector where the primary connector just goes under the plate so the wiring can be rebalanced and out of sight. Time will tell if it holds up as it should.
