Thinner would have been a better choice for the manufacturer
It appears to be very well made. It is slightly thicker than .75"(.8+) so it required a little under counter work to make it fit smoothly. Thinner would have been a better choice for the manufacturer. They did say "about" in their dimensions. If I had access to a planer it would have been a easy fit.The juice groove is only on one side and I would think that it would be better to have it on both sides. That would also double as a finger grip when pulling it out.It came with a bonus bamboo back scratcher!
