I bought the new bar table from Veridesk for this purpose. That's great. I read many reviews of the chair that Veridesk sells and chose this one because it seemed cheap, aesthetically pleasing, and had the right mix of height for sitting and standing. No complaints yet. I now almost always leave my desk in standing mode and occasionally use this stool while standing without a stool. I love that you can sit on it upright like a bar stool or lean forward and put your feet on the floor and tilt the stool forward.
