I needed a replacement for my teflon coated Bialetti milk frother which lasted a couple of years before the coating wore off over time. If you look at the photos this item barely lasted a few weeks until the bottom was covered in burnt milk. My wife and I keep the kitchen clean, and there's no way we can heat milk for a latte without singing the jug. And regardless of cleaning, he will return it clean. You can only half heat milk and then use the microwave to finish your latte, but what's the point? Needless to say I am dissatisfied with this product. UPDATE: Unexpectedly, I received a message from the company after posting this review and they offered me a refund which I accepted. They explained that this jug is for those who want to froth and froth milk after the milk has been heated elsewhere. I'm used to it now, but I'm not a barista with a standard espresso machine and frothing wand, so this product just isn't for me. I appreciate the way they took care of and cared for my problems.
