When I called my colleague to test the new microphone in real life he commented "crystal clear sound" and could definitely say when I switched between old and new microphone. I tested my microphone using the Mictest website. My internal mic on a 6 year old laptop scored over 2000 points. The dedicated USB microphone scored just over 400 points. Needless to say it was disappointing at first. The whole reason for buying it was that my internal mic didn't sound good when video conferencing. But after hearing feedback from colleagues during the actual test, I am now very happy with the purchase. I'm just leaving this full comment in case anyone wants to test the mic with online tools, they don't always give the full story.
