Good net and construction but doesn't stay in place

The mesh and frame are easy to make and I love that the tubes have spring buttons to take them apart easily. My biggest issue is that the four ground stakes or pegs that came with it just don't hold it up. I have them completely in the ground, on a lawn (no loose dirt or sand), and after two or three casts, the net bounces off the ground and spins on me. And I'm hardly a major league pitcher, so there's no unusual requirement for a net or frame. So every few minutes I have to go and reset the spikes. PIA As a solution, I'm going to try some tent pegs that have some sort of 'prong' to hold them in the ground. If that doesn't work, maybe bricks or a sandbag(?). I would have given 5 stars if it had stayed, but it didn't.

Pros
  • WEIGHT NET: 30-ply weatherproof polyethylene (PE) net is secured with 28 steel springs, allowing it to bounce balls with enthusiasm and endure many seasons, even in challenging weather conditions.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
