Bought this for my daughter in her Halloween costume. (your request). Pros: It was a hit. She got a lot of compliments for that. It's really nice at night. A bit long for her but she is 5 - if she was a little taller she wouldn't be dragging the floor. She is about 43 inches tall. This is the right size for most children. She didn't trip or anything like that. She just sanded the floor. take it off after a while. In hindsight, you could have fixed that by wrapping a softer piece of fabric after buttoning. The battery is heavy and pulls in the neck area. I couldn't figure out how to get telescopic poles. in a cape. I didn't look too closely and she was fine without them. Although I would buy it again. she liked it. Just remember that something that helps reduce irritation around the neck is ideal.
