I bought these to increase the storage space in my motorhome (I use them to slide past the bed by sliding a hook over a shelf onto my bed platform (plywood)). I use them to put slippers, shoes, phone, tablet, night light next to my bed where I can just lean over and get things out of the basket. My mattress holds the basket in place, When getting up sometimes I bump into the basket and it moves himself and because he has a mattress on it, it is not easy to put the basket back in its place I bought it used but in excellent condition The problem is that the metal hook that slides on the shelf is the SOLE and UNIQUE Support for this system is when something pulls the basket off the shelf it doesn't stay in place and moves the basket off the shelf. If the basket is loaded with heavy objects, it becomes unstable. When loaded with light items, it's more prone to moving when the hook gets stuck. The shelf isn't absolutely accurate in thickness, the basket sags a bit and doesn't sit flush. OK, I can process it all. But what I can't deal with is that for the price I paid for this set you would think each basket would be the same size. It's not like this. They don't even fit well together. The metal isn't bent at sharp angles to look "neat" and each basket appears to be bent and assembled slightly differently (lacking full uniformity). Hence the title of my review - not a perfect solution but gets the job done. If you want a beautiful style that others would call beautiful, DO NOT buy this. At the price paid, one might think that they would have put a little more effort into quality assurance. So far the white finish has been solid with no signs of wear or rust. But I wouldn't buy these again. I would probably go to Walmart or thrift and buy the cheapest item if I wanted the same quality.
