Fantastic, versatile and great price

I was so happy with this chain spool! I'm new to jewelry making and just collect materials and the quality here seems to be much better than what I've used before. Other chains I've used have been oddly colored or changed color or didn't fit properly, but I've had no problems with them. Actually I originally only bought this for use with parts that were part of the post and needed a chain to attach to it to complete the length and I had necklace chains ready to use for pendants - but it looks better than these so i went back and made simple 16 or 18 inch chains to wear pendants. I can't believe how many necklaces I've already gotten from this reel for the price I paid and I still have quite a few left! I've been using it for about a month and haven't noticed any fading so I'm optimistic based on that and the amount of feedback I've seen from people coming back to buy more (like I just did myself) . Many other networks had positive feedback from people they just received and then negative feedback from people who came back after a while to say they had passed out. I haven't seen it for this product which is a good sign. When I first used this I tried cutting the links with cutters, which was doable but difficult. I found out later that the links are not welded, so it's better to use a very thin pair of pliers to just open the link after you want the chain to end. It's a bit inconvenient as they're quite small, but it's a lot better than trying to cut them open and you won't end up with bits of chain flying around the room. I was planning to create an inventory of necklaces in different sizes, but to be honest I haven't found a necklace that this necklace wouldn't go with! Obviously, chain size is mostly a matter of personal preference, but this width turned out to be a lot more versatile than I expected.
