4 stars for accuracy and therefore: I didn't even check. I have read many reviews about combo squares and for me this topic remains the same. It's the accuracy of the instrument, how close it is to the 'real' thing (a real square in this case) and its accuracy, or how consistently and reliably it measures. For a square, both are very important. However, it is difficult to understand why any sane person would buy at the lowest possible price hoping to get a modern, finely honed, 100% genuine precision instrument. If that's what your job needs, then you know where to find it. Bad reviews are not necessary. Regular Joes and Janes, DIY fans and everyone else who doesn't build wooden clocks, this is a very good tool. Durable and precise, it is suitable for most jobs. Small enough to fit in a tool bag/box. I've built an entire playground out of scrap/wooden pallets and none of these kids have complained that it's inferior. I recommend.
