I've tried several bike headlights and while this wasn't the worst it was easy to return after a single use. If you're just using it to be seen by cars then that's fine, but the beam is too diffuse to see more than 10-15ft ahead, making it pretty much useless for cycling in the dark. I think the problem is that while it has a lot of lumens in theory, the beam isn't focused at all and therefore spreads too much, allowing you to see very well straight ahead, but not far enough ahead. When using it on the new road I had to slow down because I couldn't see what was coming until I was right on it. It didn't hold a charge very long either, less than an hour at full power, and the battery indicator was flashing red. The attachment mechanism and the quality of the light itself seem good, but if you're looking for an efficient light for night riding I'd recommend the Blitzu Gator 390.
