Installed in the Legacy station wagon 2002, it fits, the color coding of the cables differs from the original, but it is easy to determine which is which. I recommend soldering it or using electrical wire connectors. I soldered mine and used heat shrink tubing to insulate the wires. You can also use duct tape, but sometimes it tends to come loose, especially in the hot summer months. Unless your brake or tail light is easily accessible, you can always reinforce the tape connections if needed. But in general, buy with confidence.
