I'm 5ft 7in, 155lbs and ordered a medium size. You are great to me. The total length is about 5 inches below my legs and the crotch is around my knees. I have to pull the belt up to my armpits for them to fit properly. I came back here to see if they were an extra small size but no. I don't think the usual small size will fit. Now for the good: They are very light - great for the summer. The material is soft and thin and I was concerned about wear and tear, but so far so good. I've worn them about a dozen times and no wear has been noticed.
