Waist 36-38 inches. Purchased XXXL

They are so strangely tall. I bought xxxl and my waist is 36-38 inches. I shop in regular shorts most of the time. This is for the gym/home only. I'm not trying to wear them down. I don't have much flexibility in them so no squats or deep stretches because I'm afraid I'll tear them up. My body type can also play a role. I'm pretty pear shaped. Anyway, I'm fine with them.
