Originally purchased for portable night light projectors. Good replacement and after three weeks of use no problems so far. I use it in the car (not me, it's someone else) when family travels to another state (we do that a lot). Being able to dim it was a nice feature to not distract the driver, sometimes my sister or brother. But there is no light and I can't sleep or do anything in the car - I hate the dark. If you are interested, we drive at night. My favorite color so far is blue. It looks like in futuristic movies. And this little lamp isn't just for teens and bedrooms (our family has LED strips or night lights for those occasions), I find it a good use for an adult who's constantly on the go. Recommended when you need a small but modern portable lamp. In fact, this is a small lamp that does not take up too much space in the car. My experiences so far have been positive.
