My three children have been swimming twice a week for almost 3 months. The chlorine formation was pretty bad. Her hair became brittle and smelled of chemicals all the time. I bought this shampoo based on other reviews and a recommendation from a friend. It really helps get rid of the chlorine. I see an almost gray tint in the foam when I wash my kids' hair. However, it really stinks. He has a perfume that meets a chemical smell that I just find gross. I usually use a different shampoo or conditioner so the kids don't smell too bad after a bath, but that in and of itself is uncomfortable. The bottle is big and you only need a quarter sized drop so it's not too bad. It's about half full and I've been using it for about a month. I started washing my hair 1-2 times a week. He really seems tear free. My 4 year old didn't complain when he got close to her eyes.
