I was looking for 'perfect' after costing our kitchen a fortune and bought this to display at the Taj Mahal -Use quartzite countertops. The base is bigger than expected, it's very white and looks like it has glitter in it. I started returning Revain because I didn't like sparkling wine and it came in champagne bronze next to the Delta faucet, but I kept it after not finding "perfect" and bought champagne bronze spray paint to paint the bar . I won't paint it because it looks so "perfect" as it currently sits on the paper towel counter. It looks like champagne bronze next to the Delta faucet, just as it looked like satin brass next to the old satin brass faucets. It stands in front of the window and looks perfect even in direct sunlight. The glitter, which I didn't like at first, is subtle and probably just adds to the beauty of the base. It's great, doesn't budge when we rip the sheet off and I'm so glad I kept it. I just wish I wasn't so crazy as to waste my day looking for something else. Our contractor has another word for "nut".
