Difficult to judge because it's great for a chair cover - very pretty - but it's just not for sex thought or hugs. It's so thin it looks like a piece of fabric. The material is too slippery to walk on without falling. However, it looks great on a very old and dated armchair in our basement, giving it a more modern look. They'll enjoy draping something like a chair, sofa, or stair railing. There is no raised stack. As a rug, which is a product description, I rate it 1 star; If it were described as a chair cover I would give it a 4 or 5 star rating. That's why I chose 3 stars. I planned it for my daughter's bedroom but was able to repurpose it by throwing it over a chair.
