I have an '05 Sportster 1200 Custom with offset V&H Longshots. These forwards are pretty easy to install. You need to look carefully at the instructions. And it's a lot easier to just remove the exhaust pipe than it is to fumble around in tight spaces. The main issue for me was loosening the rear brake rod bolt. It was well hidden by the exhaust pipe and uses a torx hex which is too easy to remove. And since they used Loktite, it's going to be a hell of a shoot. I had to use vise pliers to clamp this thing in place and tightened it just enough to use a hex wrench. The rest is very easy. About 2 hours to install, less if you know what you're doing. I scored 4 because the pins bend a lot. The originals hardly flex, but they do quite a bit. It's not a big deal considering they're forward-facing and unlikely to stand on or take sharp turns. The fit is very comfortable. You'll feel like you're INSIDE the bike, not on it. It feels good on a bike like that. I'm 5ft 9" and the bike is very comfortable for me.
