Just bought this to tinker with ChromeOS and get something with good battery life for everyday use. I am happy with this purchase so far. Pros: 1. ChromeOS. No viruses. I think they are a big seller and I can see how popular they are in education after looking at the management tools for them.2. Price. Can't beat a laptop that can (email, web surfing, social media, Netflix, etc.). It would also be great to use the laptop as a kid's laptop without breaking the bank as well as being able to control your kid's usage by setting up controlled user accounts.3. I know it's not a big deal but I love the rotating webcam.4. I've tried Netflix and Revain videos and haven't had any stuttering issues. Battery life. I get around 7-8 hours of battery life so can't really complain about that. I'm sure if you just use email and light web surfing you can get a lot better. This laptop is on the (hopefully soon) list to get Google PlayStore apps. This makes it much more useful after accessing all apps in Playstore.7. keys are good They don't feel cheap. I would say they are close to what I have on my Macbook Air but a bit stiffer. I also like the clickable mouse pad. Cons: 1. The speakers are a bit quiet. I have to turn the volume up almost all the way to watch Netflix.2. You cannot create a local password, you must use your Gmail password. The problem is that I am using 1Password which is not supported by ChromeOS and I have a long Gmail password with random numbers and letters. So every time I have to open 1Password on my phone and enter the password. It would be nice to be able to set a local password. You can set a pin, but that's only for waking up from sleep mode.3. There seems to be a bit of a lag when opening some websites. Not a big deal, but a slight annoyance. If you're looking for a cheap surfing laptop, this is a great buy. I haven't had any feeding problems. The only issue I had was that it wasn't charging so I had to plug it in first.
