This is a very nicely built iVanky USB-C hub. The power supply is also strong. With this hub, the dual USB port powers the Macbook, plus 4 USB 3.0A ports, 2 rear and 2 front, micro SD and SD cards, 3.5mm audio output, USB C port and USB-C PD port is a good fast charger that provides power. I connected my phone to it and fast charging works. An Ethernet port is also located on the back. delivers power directly instead of connecting your MacBook charger as a passthrough, and provides power to other devices. And unlike larger docks, it's also small enough to throw in a backpack when needed. I personally use it as a desktop docking station and iVanky as a portable 7-port hub for on the go. As said, the build quality is solid and the case has a very nice glossy black finish. Everything is connected and working, Ethernet, HDMI, audio, everything is auto-detected. This was tested on 2 different Macbooks, a 2020 16" Macbook Pro with dGPU (ie ntel) running macOS Catalina and a 2017 13" Macbook Pro running macOS Mojave. What I usually check on any hub or dock is how the display signals are handled. And what I like most about this docking station. is that it sends HDMI at 4K 60Hz in native mode. In the attached images on a 16" MBP with dGPU, all 3 display signals are native macOS. On the 13-inch, because it doesn't have a dGPU, the iGPU handles 2 of its own and the other 4K signal isn't native. Also remember that Catalina is against Mojave. But overall this dock is great for the price, great quality, lots of ports and a good alternative to others at a higher price point. high quality products are delivered at competitive prices and this is no different.
