Up until this year I always bought plants to put in the two large pots we have on our porch. This year there was no such opportunity as the nurseries were closed. It was a little disheartening to see those empty pots every time I passed our porch, so I decided to give artificial flowers a try. I'm so glad I did. I bought 4 kits in total (two for each planter). I was really impressed with the quality of the flowers and greenery. Flowers are actually a collection of different sizes of stems, just like in nature. The colors are also natural colors, not the weird, unnatural hues you find in many artificial plants. I am also very satisfied with their durability. It took my daughter and I about 30 minutes to arrange the plants. First we opened all the packages and fanned out the stems and leaves. This took up most of the time. We then arranged the flowers and finished off with some tall grass to make it stand out. The whole process was really enjoyable and lifted the spirits of the porch (and me!)
