I love sewing and didn't miss the opportunity to get a bag of scraps of sheepskin. What a wonderful little treat. The leftovers are tightly packed in a plastic bag stuffed to the brim. Once you cut it there is no way to stuff all the pieces back into the bag. There were quite a few items in my bag, many of which were small. There were a few pieces that were slightly larger, a few inches long and wide. It really is a waste - all different shapes and sizes. I haven't sat down yet to see what I can piece together to do something about it. I saved a few undyed pieces to fix one of my husband's leather jackets that had a stain on the suede. I would like most items to be natural or dyed a neutral color. I have some dumb colored bits, not sure if I can use them for anything other than scrap. I'll find out what to do with them. There are not enough pieces in a bag to sew a quilt or blanket out of them. I'm considering making an antique handmuff out of my pieces. I will say this - my pups love to grab chunks and run with them.
