I have a couple of broken water valves under the bathroom sink and was looking for something that would alert us if there is a leak; I understand product design; Because there are 2 connectors that use water to complete the cycle, the beep will sound. Was still a little unsure how it would actually work and wasn't sure how loud the siren was; So I decided to do a home test by putting the siren in a pot and started pouring water to see if it would set off an alarm. of course the device works as expected; As you can see in the video, the siren's decibels are quite loud and can be heard throughout the room. I will place one under every sink and kitchen sink; but I find it to be best when placed in a pot or similar to better contain water leaks.
