Review on Botabee Foam Basketball Quiet Small by Joshua Paulson

The outer skin will peel off over time

I prefer these foam balls to the heavier rubber balls that come with most Franklin and SKYLZ tires. I'm throwing these balls at Franklin's hoops over the metal-rimmed door. I play every day about 1-2 hours a day. With the two balls that came with the ball, I noticed that after the first 6-8 hours of play, the elastic outer skin began to tear and eventually detached. Once some of the skin begins to peel off, the entire integrity of the ball quickly begins to fall apart. Eventually, the ball will start leaving little scraps of skin all over it. I don't think these balls are strong enough to withstand the constant contact with the metal rims of better tires. At the current pace of life of these balls, I'll probably be buying new balls every two months. Not sure if it's worth it.
