Great for testing but not for finished work

For the price this is a good buy. If you're not a kid or using it for workout sheets, it might not be worth it. It's a ton of buckles. I've compared it to arches and the amount of warping is about four times that of arches when bonded with tape and the same amount of water. Also, when the tape is peeled off, it pulls some of the paper with it. Not like Arches. However, I will say that if you hold your piece with tape until it's completely dry, the warping will mostly subside. At the same time, your color will settle into certain areas that you may not have thought of. If you want spontaneity, fine. If not, well you get the idea. Of course nobody expects Arches quality at this price. I will definitely keep using this paper just because of the price. It's great for testing different techniques or how colors look when mixed. However, I will not use it for finished work. If you don't wash and don't put a lot of water on the paper at one time you could probably use this on a finished work, but I still recommend more expensive paper if you can afford it. That.

Pros
  • 30 sheets 140lb/300gsm
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
