I was looking for a new surge protector for my garage and workshop that offers many well-spaced sockets for bulky adapters/transformers and also has a USB output. The USB-C output on this unit is a bonus, but to be honest I'm not using it at the moment. The mains filter is rated for 1800W of power and 2360J of protection, which is pretty reliable at this price point. The USB output is a nice touch that allows me to plug in a USB wireless charging pad for my iPhone and mount it on a workbench. Overall, I really like the combination of vertical and horizontal outlets because it gives me more freedom to connect multiple cables and chargers.
