Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV 305/35 R21 109T winter by Wiktor Sakowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Well, the season is basically over, why not ate the review. The runs were mostly in the city and on the highway - and in this strange winter, mostly on asphalt, whether wet or frozen. I need spikes, because at the exit from the highway, an icy track begins. I was worried whether this spike would be good on bare pavement - and so, it’s still very good. By the way: it is indeed insensitive to asphalt ruts. I got into a serious blizzard on the highway literally once - and when overtaking another truck with a left-side drive into thick snow at the divider, I seemed to be slightly led . but the ESP was silent, and it turned out easily. Hong Konganent full or rubber? )) Uniform snow porridge also came across after, I did not notice any problems. It was possible to provoke the operation of the ABS only with intentional sudden braking in deep, freshly fallen snow. The current winter near Hong Kong did not provide any more opportunities to test tires more thoroughly. Regarding the sound: no, they do not buzz to me. At low speeds, a clatter is barely audible on the pavement; when the speed increases further to a hundred or more, no special rumble is felt, although the music does not hammer on me. What surprised me: it was by the end of March, but the rubber antennae had not yet worn off, as if I had just changed my shoes. At least sell it like new. I would like to hope that this indicates a really hardy composition of the mixture)) In a word, the tires are only slightly run-in for the time being - let's see how it behaves next winter. To say that, well, just the very best wheels? - well, in order to skate them in direct comparison with Hakka and Continental . well, unless the manufacturers offer such a thing)) That's why four stars. But happy, definitely.

Pros
  • I took it in December 19th, I’m going through a run-in on the Grand Vitara. Production Poland, 19 year. There is no snow yet, asphalt in the city. Surprisingly, I don’t hear wheel noise at all at speeds up to 80 (I don’t drive faster yet). I don’t make sharp maneuvers either, so there are no questions about handling during city driving. I don't see any difference from summer. When it snows, when I go out to the track. we'll take a closer look there ))

I buy tires of this brand not for the first time. Perhaps the best of the best in the premium segment
